Extra health & safety measures I am taking
All colour clients (new and existing) will be required to take a skin test at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. During this 10 minute appointment a skin test will be carried out and a brief consultation prior to your first visit and we will confirm the cost of the service(s) you may require.
Your appointment
• Please be punctual for your appointment as there is no waiting area
• You are required to use the hand sanitiser provided before entering the salon
• We will be wearing a reusable visor at all times during your appointment that will be cleaned and sanitised upon completion of your appointment
• We will be wearing disposable gloves (except whilst cutting) and apron at all times during your appointment which will be disposed of upon completion of your appointment
• You will be required to wear a face mask during your appointment
• You are required to bring a small face towel or covering to be used whilst we wash your hair
• Disposable towels and colour/cutting capes will be used and disposed of upon completion of your appointment
• Please pay by card payment in advance or you may pay by bank transfer at the end of your appointment
• Disposable paper towels will be provided for use in the washroom. Please be assured the washroom is sanitised after each client
• A contactless bin has been placed in the salon
• The salon including objects and surfaces, door handles, all equipment and chairs will be sanitised upon completion of your appointment
• Do not bring anyone with you to your appointment
• The only drink we can provide for you is water in a disposable cup
• No handbags, flasks, drinks bottles, food, jackets or coats, etc. Only bring essential items with you
• The gazebo in the garden has been set up as a workstation for use where possible (weather permitting)
• When working in the salon a window and door (weather permitting) will be kept open to provide good ventilation at all times
• Should you need to sneeze or cough, you should do so in the tissues provided and discard appropriately and then wash your hands thoroughly or use the hand sanitiser provided
• Your professional products will be available for you to purchase and you should pre order where possible
• Due to Covid restrictions and transmission rate we request talking is kept to a bare minimum unless there is an emergency. If you have special requests email me prior to your appointment so that we can prepare for those requests
• Should you forget your face mask or small towel for your face you may we have disposable face masks and towels for you to purchase at a nominal cost
• A £5 surcharge as a contribution to all of the PPE will be added to the cost of your visit
COVID-19
Should you have the recent onset of a new continuous cough, a high temperature and/or noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell however mild you MUST stay home and reschedule your appointment.
